The Fort Garry Hotel

The Fort Garry Hotel is a 1913 landmark in the heart of Winnipeg — a Châteauesque building of exceptional architectural character that required an interior design approach of equal depth and care. Our scope covered guest suites, living areas, dining rooms and lobby spaces across the full property.
The Challenge
Modernizing a historic 1913 landmark hotel while preserving its architectural heritage and grand character. The brief required an interior that felt contemporary and elevated without erasing the history embedded in the building's bones.
The Solution
A layered approach blending period-appropriate furnishings with contemporary art, custom millwork and bespoke textile selections that honor the building's history. Every material decision was weighed against the architecture it would inhabit.
A fully reimagined interior that elevated the guest experience while deepening the hotel's connection to its historic identity.
